Let me start off by saying that I loved Assistant to the Villain.

When I read this book, I had only recently added it to my TBR.

Writing this review weeks after reading this, it took a second for me to remember what this was about which...isn't a good sign.

I clearly had no idea what this book was about before delving into it because, for some reason, I thought that this was a dark academic book

I admit that I was hesitant to pick up this book.

This book was buried and forgotten in my TBR, and I only remembered it existed when I saw the trailer for the movie and thought the title so

To be honest, the only reason I read this book was because I put a copy for the third book in the series without realizing...

To be honest, I can't remember why I picked up this book nor where I had first heard about it.
