December 2022 | In Review

The final month of the year came upon us quickly, and with it now done and over, it is time to reflect on what I read (or the lack therefore of). I wanted to get through the rest of my top-priority books but, well, I knew I wouldn't have the time to do that. So, my goal was to finish at least a couple of books.

I usually follow a format when it comes to these posts since it makes things more organized, but I read a grand total of 2 books this month...2. It's been a slow few months for me, and my motivation to sit down and read during the little time I have free hasn't picked up again. Thinking optimistically, at least I finished something.

I read The Dead House by Dawn Kurtagich and Briardark by S.A. Harian. Both books I did end up liking, having given the former a 4-star rating, and the latter a 3.5. Both books were also horror/mystery as well so I kind of followed a theme here. Besides those, I did start House of Leaves, or resume rather, but I know it is going to take me forever to finish it.
