With the start of the UNO team reading challenge I do every year, it is time for me to start reading more. I've fallen a bit off the bandwagon lately, but I was counting on this reading challenge to force me to get back into reading. Okay, well, technically I am always reading but in this case, I mean reading actual books.
I didn't end up reading too much but it was better than nothing!
Let's get straight into the statistics!
I read 3 books, 1 audiobook and 2 volumes of manga for a grand total of 6 titles, 1,703 pages read, and 6.5 hours listened to.

Bookshops & Bonedust (Legends & Lattes #0) by Travis Baldree
The September House by Carissa Orlando
Haunting Adeline (Cat & Mouse #1) by H.D. Carlton
I'm Glad My Mom Died by Jennete McCurdy
One Piece Vol.24 by Eiichiro Oda
One Piece Vol.25 by Eiichiro Pda
This month I didn't have any DNFs, or at least I hope so because I have nothing recorded...

I would say that this month was pretty successful if it wasn't for the stain that was Haunting Adeline...
Genres
Fantasy - 3
Horror/Thriller - 1
Romance - 1
Nonfiction - 1
Considering I didn't read too much I am rather happy that there is a good spread of genres. I even read a memoir which is something I have never done before.
Best of the Month - Bookshops & Bonedust
Worst of the Month - Haunting Adeline
Most Disappointing - The September House
Taking the top spot this month is Bookshops & Bonedust. I enjoyed the first book so it is no surprise that I enjoyed this one as well. You can't really go wrong with cozy fantasy books. What you can go wrong with though is with this month's worst pick. I knew I wasn't going to like Haunting Adeline, but it wasn't because of the trigger warnings like I thought it would be, but because of just how bad the actual romance was. Finally, with no title for most surprising, we have The September House as the most disappointing book I read this month. It wasn't bad, which I will take, but it wasn't as good as it could have been.
