Semester 1 of the Magical Readathon is upon us, and I am ready for it. If you do not know, the Magical Readathon is a readathon created and hosted by Book Roast (if you want to check out her announcement video, click on the pink link). I participated in both the Novice Path and the Gear Up mini-readathon, so I am ready and set to dive straight into this.
Taking place in April, and August for the second semester, this readathon is a bit more complex as in order to get top marks for your chosen profession, you need to read more than one book per prompt. Because I like to be an overachiever when it comes to readathons, I, of course, am going to aim for a distinguished grade for every prompt. That is an issue for the Autumn Equinox though so for now, I just have to read one book per prompt.
Before diving in, I would like to make a note that any images after this point are all credited to Book Roast and whoever helped create them.
Here we go!
I had a bit of a difficult time choosing what profession I wanted to pursue because a lot of them ended up catching my eye. Some, like the Archmage or Master of Elements, appealed to me because I think it would be fun to be OP. Mage Hunter and Spellsword appealed to me as well because they are the more dangerous or rogue professions.
A big part of me, however, wants to be a Scribe, who spends their days stuck in the archives or out in the wilds acquiring artefacts. And that is exactly what I want to be because it is what actually fits my field as someone who studied history and museum studies.

Guild Tiers is an optional challenge you can do if you want an extra challenge, which you know I do. Since I participated in the last readathon, I am already part of a guild, that guild being the House of the Arcane. Check out the Adventure Board to see if there are any quests that can grant you points, but they are first come first serve, so you have to pay attention.
Since I completed the Novice Path, I already have 50 points, which is a good start.
