"Baffled about the source of his powers, Jinwoo returns to the Double Dungeon to find out the truth. Unfortunately, the Architect, the moderator of the System, is not willing to give him answers so easily."
The Double Dungeon Arc is the 16th arc in Solo Leveling, a webtoon adapted from the web novel by Chugong, with art by DUBU (REDICE STUDIO) and story by h-goon. This arc consists of chapters 123-131 of the webtoon.
In order to move forwards, we must go back to the beginning, where all is revealed.
Let's get into the details.
PLOT
While we do get some fight scenes in this, this arc mainly serves to give us, and Jinwoo, answers. Admittedly though, I was a bit confused regarding some things...
Another good thing about going back to the beginning is that we get to see those statues again. After having seen a bunch of different beasts, nothing beasts these guys in terms of creep factor.
I do have one complaint about the fight in the Double Dungeon regarding the art. They are statues, so it didn't make much sense to mimic the way skin moves when taking a punch to the face. I get the impact the artist was trying to go for, but if the punch had any, well, punch, then the stone would have broken.
This arc did make me think a bit though, as I wonder how the story would have been different if Jinwoo decided not to level up and only did the daily quests. Would the System do something that would force him to level up, since that's what its goal was?
WORLD-BUILDING
Since Jinwoo is now up against the Architect, a.k.a the creator of the System, we naturally get the answers we have been seeking the entire time not only about the System, but about the grand scheme as well. I also like how the author did mention something I had been wondering about the entire time, which was appreciated.
CHARACTERS
We are getting more of Jinwoo's personality now. In the beginning, he was more expressive, but ever since he woke back up changed, he has been straight-faced. It is mostly just him being clueless or deadpanning (with the rare flustered state), but it is amusing to see.
CONCLUDING THOUGHTS
Although the ending was a bit abrupt, it ended in a decent spot since it will carry on into the next arc. This was a really solid arc though, with higher stakes, good fight scenes, and answers we dearly needed.
Onto some spoilery thoughts now though, so if you don't want to be spoiled, you can stop reading now.

Still mad that they killed Goto off like he was nothing (and Ippei too, offscreen to boot).
Guess I will just have to turn to fanfiction to settle the void...
Oh look, it's Jongin's long-lost brother.
Beru is watching period dramas 😂
Jinwoo getting flustered after checking in on Hae-In only to find her in the bath.
Jinwoo would look real good with some ear piercings, just saying.
There's no time to explain...dude, all you have to say is that a double dungeon that no one but you can beat appeared...that explains it well enough.
Alright, honestly wasn't expecting the Architect to be the angel statue.
Oh, Chairman Go is pissed, like real pissed.
Damn, Jinwoo leveled up a lot by getting the black heart, like 100,000+ mana is nuts.
The dislocated jaw is creeping me out a bit though...
Answers, I finally got the answer I needed!
I was wondering if the System could de-level him, but Jinwoo realized that by killing the Architect, it won't get rid of the already existing System
The Architect also tried to do it manually and it shut him out
Heh, well we all say that coming bud.
If you have a character that acts that cocky and greedy, you know he's gonna go down real fast
