The Yoo Jinho Party Arc is the 6th arc in Solo Leveling, a webtoon adapted from the web novel by Chugong, with art by DUBU (REDICE STUDIO) and story by h-goon. This arc consists of chapters 35-37 of the webtoon.
We've got another of the smaller arc this time around, but it features our resident cinnamon role Jinho, so this was still a good arc.
Let's get into the details.
PLOT
As I said, this is a very short arc, so there I don't have many comments regarding the plot. This is more or less just some more raids and fighting. People are starting to piece together that Jinwoo isn't as weak as his rank dictates, so I assume from now on the plot, and the characters, are going to get bigger.
WORLD-BUILDING
I will admit that I do need some further clarification when it comes to the conditions of the dungeons. It is already known that you need a party of at least 10, with half being the same rank as the dungeon or higher, in order to get in. In this arc though, Jinwoo and Jinho go into the dungeon by themselves, leaving the rest of the party outside.
I am now unsure about the rules now though because of this revelation. Does it mean that you need a party of 10 to sign up because of association rules, and not to physically enter the dungeon? This is my only complaint about the magic system so far though, as the author has been very thorough with the details so far.
We also learn more about the logistics behind the gates from an economical perspective. Or, in other words, we learn how a party is able to get the rights to enter a gate.
CHARACTERS
Nothing really notable to talk about for this section. We are starting to see how cunning Jinwoo is, being able to con other people into getting what he wants. We also have Jinho in this as well, who is always a welcome presence.
CONCLUDING THOUGHTS
As Jinwoo stated, the real game begins now, so I am expecting things to ramp up from here on out. Something was hinted at the end of the arc that the comment section is excited about, so I am excited to see what happens in the next arc.
