"Stiff is an oddly compelling, often hilarious exploration of the strange lives of our bodies postmortem. For two thousand years, cadavers—some willingly, some unwittingly—have been involved in science's boldest strides and weirdest undertakings."
Stiff: The Curious Lives of Human Cadavers is a standalone nonfiction book by Mary Roach.
As someone who has watched a lot of CSI and Bones in my day, I always had a lingering curiosity about human body post-mortem (in a purely educational way). So needless to this, this was a fascinating book to listen to. This also covered a wide range of subjects which was nice.
